Predictions of widespread delays in posting results of the Feb. 5 presidential primary due to a shift to paper ballots in nearly two dozen counties failed to materialize, said California Secretary of State Debra Bowen.
“In 57 of 58 counties, the election results came in roughly at the same time as they had in previous elections,” Bowen told a crowd of several hundred people at the Lamorinda Democratic Club on Thursday night in Walnut Creek. Read the complete Contra Costa Times story here.
