On Labor Day many people celebrated the freedom to work as well as to organize, it also marked the day the Lafayette Cross keepers changed the way they count the losses of our brave hero’s. After much debate the Cross Committee decided that we needed to honor the fallen of the forgotten war the Afghanistan war. During a vigil held at the Lafayette Crosses there were 581 lost soldiers counted from the war in Afghanistan. This grim reminder of loss should make us all want to work  hard to defeat McCain and change Washington’s direction with Obama.
