You are invited to watch a screening of The Healthcare movie and participate in a panel discussion on Sunday, July 15, from 3-5 p.m. at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center, 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd.
The Healthcare Movie, narrated by Keifer Sutherland, is a 65-minute documentary that tells the real story of how the health care system in Canada turned out to be so completely different from that in the United States, given that at one point they were essentially the same. Learn:

Following the screening of the movie from 3:05-4:10 p.m., a panel discussion exploring questions about how how the movie's findings and recent events (including the Supreme Court decision upholding the Affordable Care Act) impact California. The panel features Pat Snyder from Health Care for All Contra Costa County and Dr. Henry Abrons from Physicians For A National Health Program California.
