Engaging, Educating, and Electing Democrats

The Lamorinda Democratic Club (LDC) is dedicated to engaging, educating, and electing Democrats.  Founded in the 1950s, we are one of California’s oldest and most dynamic Democratic clubs, as well as one of the largest in the state, with a roster of associates in excess of 700 and a paid membership approaching 250.  Lamorinda Democratic Club members are active volunteers, precinct organizers, elected representatives, and dedicated citizens.  We contribute time, energy, and enthusiasm to support Democratic candidates, ballot campaigns, “building the bench,” and building community.  We live in neighborhoods throughout Contra Costa County, including Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Danville, Alamo, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Concord, and Martinez.  We are a chartered member of the Democratic Party of Contra Costa County.

General Club Meetings

Our general meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of most months at 7 pm, some at the Lafayette Library and others on Zoom. We do not meet in June, July, and December. For information on the next meeting check the “Monthly Meeting” webpage.
